The City Tour of Cartagena will take you through the neighborhoods of the walled city: Getsemaní and the historic center.
With an English-speaking guide, you will walk through the cobbled streets of the historic center of Cartagena. You will be able to admire the colorful colonial buildings and its beautiful flowered balconies. The tour of the City Center of Cartagena will make you discover the most popular monuments such as the Clock Tower (“Torre del Reloj“), the impressive Church of San Pedro Claver, the Customs and Santo Domingo Square and the beautiful “Bovedas” (dungeons attached to the walls). You will also visit Getsemani neighborhood, an old popular district with the streets decorated with murals and graffitis.
This walk in the center of Cartagena is about 5 km and lasts about 3 hours (depending on your pace). It is suitable for anyone with a good physical condition to walk. For families with young children, we recommend NOT to take the stroller as the streets and sidewalk are often narrow and crowded.
